Born in South Africa, raised and educated in Zambia and at boarding school in Zimbabwe, Alistair has spent much of his life travelling the globe in search of adventure and new and exciting experiences.
A dedicated thrill seeker, Alistair has surfed some of Hawaii’s biggest waves, skydived on Oahu, rafted down the wild Zambezi river, bungee jumped off the spectacular Victoria Falls bridge, successfully climbed Kilimanjaro twice – the first time as a young teenager, and ridden on horseback across the plains of the Masai Mara, the Serengeti and the Okavango delta. He pioneered snowboarding in Aspen and is an active member of the standup paddle board community, recently competing in its inauguration into the Gorge Games on the Colombia River.
His business and speaking accomplishments are equally impressive. Over a twenty year career in real estate on the Kauai, he became known as the realtor of the stars with a client list that included the likes of Michael Crichton, John Wells, Christopher Chulack, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer to mention just a few. Within the International Toastmaster organization he has achieved their highest rank of DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster), and won the right to represent Hawaii in the World Championship of Public Speaking. Additionally he is the current Speech Evaluation contest winner for the highly competitive Pacific North West District. He is also an award winning author and his article on surviving Hurricane Iniki won first place in the Hawaii Publishers Association Pa’i Awards.
The Founder and President of The Aspirational Alliance based in Bend, Oregon, Alistair now devotes his time to sharing his experiences and his knowledge with a wide range of audiences as well as offering individual speech and communication coaching sessions.
